Terms of Service, Art of Wipe

Art of Wipe (“Art of Wipe”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at artofwipe.com and its subdomains (the “Service”). Contact: legal@artofwipe.com

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Art of Wipe generates custom maps for the game Rust and lets you download the resulting map file to run on your own game server. We aim to stay faithful to the game’s own map generation, but the maps are generated by us and are not official game content.

You sign in with a third-party identity provider (Steam, Discord, or Google). You are responsible for keeping access to that provider account secure.
You must be old enough to use those providers and to form a binding contract in your country. The Service is not directed to children.
One person should hold one account. We limit the number of accounts that may be created from the same network to prevent abuse, and we may refuse, suspend, or remove accounts we reasonably believe are duplicate, automated, or abusive.

3. Fair use and entitlements

Each account may run a limited number of map generations or edits per calendar month (currently 25), and may store a limited number of maps. These limits are part of the Service and we may change them.
You may use maps you generate to run Rust game servers, including community and monetized servers. That is the intended purpose.
You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service itself or access to it, scrape or automate it beyond the provided limits, attempt to bypass the entitlement or account limits, or use it to break the law or a third party’s rights.

4. Your maps, our platform

The map files you generate are yours to use on your servers under these Terms.
The Service itself, including the generator, the website, the brand, the logo, the preview renderer, and the prefab and monument content we author, is our intellectual property or licensed to us. These Terms do not give you rights to reproduce or reuse them outside generating and using your own maps.
If you submit feedback, bug reports, ratings, or screenshots, you grant us the right to use them to operate and improve the Service.

5. Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, and may change or remove content (including generated maps or stored data), at any time.
We do not guarantee that a generated map is free of defects or fit for any particular server configuration. You are responsible for testing a map before you run it in production.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the Service at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or server downtime, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or abuse the Service.

9. Rust and Facepunch

Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios. Art of Wipe is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, associated with, or endorsed by Facepunch Studios.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Service is operated. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence, which continue to apply to you.
